Dharma Productions has officially announced that Ananya Panday will star as the female lead in the upcoming romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera, alongside Kartik Aaryan. This confirmation arrives just a day after a viral video surfaced, showing the two actors filming in Europe, which ignited fan speculation.

Directed by Sameer Vidwans, known for his work on Satyaprem Ki Katha, the film is a collaboration between Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures. The selection reportedly came down to Ananya and Sharvari. A source close to the project noted, “Kartik and Karan were looking for an actress with a strong appeal among youth, and after considering various names, they decided on Ananya. She and Kartik have proven to be a successful pair, and this will further their collaboration.”
