Now, the production house is set to add another major project to its slate — a high-octane action thriller starring Sunny Deol.
According to a Pinkvilla report, Sunny Deol is teaming up with Excel Entertainment for the very first time for this large-scale action film. The untitled project will mark the directorial debut of Balaji, who has previously worked as an assistant and associate director on several successful Tamil blockbusters. A source close to the project revealed, “Sunny Deol is set to collaborate with Excel Entertainment on a big-budget action thriller.
Talks had been ongoing for some time, and now both parties are officially on board.” The source added, “This untitled thriller will be their first collaboration. Sunny Deol loves the script and is excited to work alongside Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani on this high-concept film.”Balaji’s debut film is expected to showcase Sunny Deol in a powerful, action-packed role — a genre the actor is famously associated with.
