Bollywood actor Shraddha Kapoor’s brother, Siddhanth Kapoor, has been summoned by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Mumbai Police in connection with the Rs 252 crore MD drugs case. Siddhanth is scheduled to record his statement at the ANC’s Ghatkopar unit on November 25.
Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has also been called to the Ghatkopar ANC unit to record his statement on November 26 as part of the ongoing investigation into this major drug racket. Siddhanth Kapoor’s association with drug-related legal issues is not new.
He was arrested in 2022 for alleged drug consumption but was later released on station bail after medical tests confirmed drug use. Prior to that, he was also detained by Bengaluru Police for allegedly consuming drugs at a party.
Orry was among several individuals named in an FIR registered on March 15, 2025, by Katra police for consuming alcohol at a hotel in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir—an act prohibited in that religious area.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police issued a statement highlighting strict enforcement against such violations, following orders from SSP Reasi Paramvir Singh. Officers from Katra were directed to identify and take action against those involved, maintaining a zero-tolerance policy toward drugs and alcohol at sacred sites.
