The release of Adipurush has created all sorts of buzz around the media including the negative ones. The critics seem to come heavily on the makers of the film and one of these include the actor Sunil Lahri, who played the role of Laxman in Ramanand Sagar’s iconic TV series Ramayan. He spilled the beans on the current controversy around the mythological film. He said he is disappointed watching the movie and he questioned as to why he should catch the film visiting any theater. He said he did not like the movie at large apart from the photography and music. Except for these aspects, the overall story of the film seems to be bad.
He said once he watched the movie, he was not able to react since he also played a similar character in the said iconic TV show. He informed that people around him who watched the movie also had similar views. He cited the example of two women talking when one asked to leave the film in the middle to have a walk, while the other insisted on watching it only for the visual effects. People in the theater objected about the way they are showing in the name of Ramayan.
He said the film is not for a modern movie, and which angle seems to be in modern, while having similar characters having tattoos on their body and having a different hairstyle seems disturbing. He said nothing seemed to be logical in the film and he questioned how they did make the film. He objected to the dialogues and went on to say that the character of Hanuman was seen speaking a language of the streets. He ended up saying that even Ravan was seen beating iron as he was a blacksmith. In other words he was sad and dejected to watch the movie.
