Amidst their hectic schedules, Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have to consciously “schedule” time for each other. In an interview with Vogue India, Deepika Padukone revealed the intentional approach she and Ranveer Singh take to prioritize their time together amidst their demanding careers. “Spending time with my husband is paramount to me. You have to carve out that time…
Both he and I make a conscious effort to schedule time for each other. It can’t be a one-sided endeavor. In our line of work, one of us may be traveling for months at a time, or he might have late nights while I have early mornings. Even when we’re in the same city, there are times when we barely find quality time together. It’s not about the quantity of time, but the quality of the time we share. While we cherish moments together as a couple, we also enjoy spending time with our respective families,” Deepika explained.
Deepika also revealed her favorite way to unwind with Ranveer: “I’m a huge fan of dancing. Sometimes, on weekends, my husband and I crank up the music in our living room and dance until the early hours of the morning, showcasing our playlists to each other,” she shared. Interestingly, she made the same observation during her Koffee With Karan appearance last month.
While fans adored the ‘dancing in the living room’ anecdote, the Koffee With Karan episode also sparked a wave of trolling directed at Deepika and Ranveer. During the show, Deepika discussed their early days of dating, which many perceived as a situationship rather than a committed relationship. She revealed that she continued going on dates with other people while ‘mentally’ committed to Ranveer. This revelation didn’t resonate well with some, leading to days of relentless trolling for what they believed was a façade of a perfect love story.
This revised version provides a more concise and nuanced account of the controversy, highlighting the perception of a discrepancy between Deepika’s words and the idealized portrayal of their relationship.
