Tragedy struck the entertainment industry as the news of the untimely demise of popular Kannada and Telugu actor Pavithra Jayaram spread. Pavithra, known for her portrayal of Thilottama in the hit Telugu television series Trinayani, met with a fatal car accident in the Mahbubnagar district of Telangana. The accident occurred in Divitipally, while she was on her way back from Bengaluru to Hyderabad on Sunday, as confirmed by the police. Sadly, Pavithra lost her life on the spot when her car lost control, hit the divider, and was subsequently struck by a bus. Media reports indicate that her cousin and driver were seriously injured in the incident.
The entertainment industry, along with her colleagues and fans, is devastated by this tragic loss. One of her co-stars, Sameeip Acharyaa, expressed his grief over Pavithra’s passing. Taking to Instagram Stories, he wrote, “Woke up to the news that you are no more. It’s unbelievable. My first on-screen mother, you will always be the special one.” Pavithra Jayaram began her acting career with the Kannada TV industry, starring in the serial Jokali. In 2018, she made her debut in the Telugu TV industry with Ninne Pelladatha. However, it was her role as Thilottama in the popular TV serial Trinayani that brought her widespread recognition and made her a household name.
