As per reports, the complaint is filed by Sanjay Dinanath Tiwari at the Bombay High Court seeking the help of the lawyers- Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra. The complainant described himself as a preacher of Sanatan Dharma for hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus.
According to reports, the complaint has alleged that the makers of Adipurush have distorted facts and depicted characters from the Hindu epic in a wrong way, which has hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community.
They also claimed that the movie’s title, Adipurush, is misleading as it implies that Lord Ram is not the only “Adipurush” (Supreme Being) and that there are other Adipurushas as well. The group has demanded that the makers change the movie’s title and make changes to the script to avoid hurting religious sentiments.
