Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Gadar 2, the sequel to the 2001 blockbuster film starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. The film will be released on August 11, 2023, twenty-two years after the original was made. Ameesha Patel will reprise her role as Sakeena in the sequel, marking her return to the big screen after a long hiatus. The actor recently trended on social media after she shared a spoiler from the film, which upset some fans.

However, Patel has since apologized for the spoiler and assured fans that they will still enjoy the film. Ameesha Patel took to social media to criticize director Anil Sharma and his production team for mismanagement on the set of Gadar 2. Besides, she also thanked Zee Studios for their help. While shooting for the film in Chandigarh, Patel tweeted, “Another concern of fans has been about certain incidents regarding Anil Sharma Productions that took place during the final schedule of Gadar 2 in Chandigarh in May.”
