In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Paresh Rawal clarified that while Kartik Aaryan was signed for the film, he was never cast as Raju, Akshay Kumar’s iconic character. Instead, Aaryan was set to play a different role, but the evolving script led to his departure.Rawal explained, “Kartik was signed when the story was different. People thought he’d play Raju, but his character was completely different. Akshay was always meant to reprise his role.
Now, with the story changed, Kartik isn’t part of the film. ”This revelation clears up confusion, especially after rumors surfaced that Aaryan might replace Kumar, as he did in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
