Earlier this year, Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan made his Bollywood debut with Nadaaniyan, starring opposite Khushi Kapoor, sister of Janhvi Kapoor. Unfortunately, the film failed to win over audiences and both Ibrahim and Khushi faced harsh criticism for their performances. However, many fans and critics were willing to give Ibrahim another shot. So, when it was announced that Ibrahim would return with Sarzameen, starring alongside Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran, excitement quickly built up.
The trailer of Sarzameen boosed up the expectations, but viewers had one major complaint—while Ibrahim’s presence was noticeable, he had no dialogues. That changed with the release of the film’s latest promo, just a day before the film’s premiere. In this new teaser, Ibrahim delivers a powerful dialogue that immediately grabbed attention. Playing the son of Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s characters, who has become a terrorist, Ibrahim says, “Haqeekat hun, ya sirf ek rooh. Kaun hun?

Khoon mein lipta kafan hun. Dafan kiya koi kissa hun. Nafrat hun, tabahi hun, naa thamne waala toofan hun. Aa raha hun. Pooch lena apni Sarzameen se, kaun hun.” Fans are loving this intense moment! The response on social media has been overwhelmingly positive. One user commented, “THIS IS SO POWERFUL,” while another eagerly asked, “CAN TOMORROW COME ANY QUICKER.” Praise poured in with messages like, “What a performance Ibrahim Ali Khan bro❤️❤️,” “Saif Ali Khan ka beta ha sabit kardiya isne,” and “Zabardast acting bro.”
So, Sarzameen is making a much stronger impression than Ibrahim’s debut, even before its release. Produced by filmmaker Karan Johar, Sarzameen is directed by Kayoze Irani, son of actor Boman Irani and a co-star in Student of the Year (2012) alongside Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra. The film is set to premiere on OTT on July 25, and anticipation is high for Ibrahim’s performance this time around.
