Kangana Ranaut Mocks Bollywood Celebrities for Entertaining at Ambani Bash

Amidst the recent pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, notable Bollywood figure Kangana Ranaut chose not to partake in the lavish celebrations alongside numerous industry peers. Instead, she appeared to subtly criticize her colleagues for their ostentatious displays during the three-day event. Kangana conveyed that she has consistently declined opportunities to partake as a hired entertainer at private events, drawing a comparison to the late Lata Mangeshkar.

Referencing reports that the legendary singer had declined substantial sums to attend private gatherings, as disclosed by her sister Asha Bhosle, Kangana shared an old article highlighting these comments. In an Instagram story, she expressed, “I have been through worse financial setbacks, but Lata ji and I are only two people who have massive hit songs to our credit.” She emphasized her principled stance, stating, “It takes strong character and dignity to say no to fame and money; in the world of shortcuts, the young generation needs to understand that the only wealth one can acquire is the wealth of integrity.”

Kangana did not elaborate on why she perceives dancing at weddings as lacking in dignity. The Ambani pre-wedding festivities took place in Jamnagar, Gujarat, and saw a significant turnout of foreign dignitaries, business leaders, and prominent figures from the film industry.
