Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan Team Up Again for Kashmir-Set Sports Adventure; Filming to Begin February 2026 with 2027 Release Expected

Following their collaboration on Chandu Champion, Kartik Aaryan and director Kabir Khan are gearing up for a second project together—a high-budget sports-adventure film set against the stunning backdrop of Kashmir. Reliable sources reveal that the film promises to be a game-changer in the genre, combining intense action with expansive real-world locations.“
Kartik and Kabir are teaming up for what could be a unique sports adventure with a substantial production scale. Kartik will undergo rigorous physical training to prepare for the role, and shooting is slated to commence in February 2026,” a source shared. The production is planned to span approximately nine months, with filming scheduled from February through October 2026 across multiple global locations.

 

Kartik is set to undergo a physical transformation for his character, diving straight into this ambitious project after completing Nagzilla for Dharma Productions. In addition to this film, Kartik is actively exploring scripts and preparing to begin work on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 in the latter half of 2026, reuniting with Anees Bazmee. He has also been in discussions with director Luv Ranjan for another feature. Furthermore, Kartik is expected to complete the remaining portions of Anurag Basu’s upcoming film within the same year.
