In a recent interview, Ajay revealed that the Singham Again team contemplated postponing their release due to the overwhelming excitement surrounding Pushpa 2. Initially, the Pushpa team had aimed for an August 15th release, but the film was later rescheduled.
Ajay recounted, “I experienced it firsthand, and it filled me with pride. One day on set, I overheard Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn talking about Pushpa. When they found out that Pushpa was set to release on August 15th, they considered delaying Singham 2. It was quite a surprise, and I felt immense pride in that moment.” Despite the excitement, plans changed, and Pushpa 2 was ultimately pushed to the end of the year.Ajay later conveyed this impactful story to Allu Arjun, expressing how the film’s impact instilled a great sense of pride in him.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 features a remarkable ensemble cast, including Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Fahadh Faasil as the main antagonist.
