A big news there for all the Salman Khan fans or rather its a good news for them! Despite not having a release for Eid this year, the superstar has just announced his next big project, titled Sikandar, to make up for it. So, with this action-packed entertainer will mark Khan’s first collaboration with renowned director AR Murugadoss, and filming is set to kick off in May.
Currently, Murugadoss is busy directing another action film, tentatively called SK23, which stars the talented Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan. This project is scheduled to continue until June. In order to ensure a seamless shooting schedule for Sikandar, Murugadoss will be juggling both films for the next two months.
According to an insider, “Before Sikandar goes on floors, Murugadoss wants to wrap up as much of SK23 as possible. He will shoot the first schedule of Sikandar in May and then return to finish Sivakarthikeyan’s movie in June. From July onwards, he will be completely dedicated to the Salman Khan starrer.”
Despite the director’s busy schedule, the team is determined to meet their target of releasing Sikandar on Eid 2025. To ensure there are no delays, Murugadoss has assembled a dedicated team to assist him in finishing SK23 quickly.
Sikandar marks Murugadoss’s return to Hindi cinema after an eight-year hiatus following his last film, Akira (2016). This exciting project also brings together Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala, known for delivering blockbuster hits like Kick, Judwaa, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
The title Sikandar itself has generated a wave of excitement and curiosity among audiences. Fans are eagerly anticipating the magic that will unfold on the big screen with this dream team collaboration. Eid 2025 is definitely going to be an electrifying celebration!
