Dr. Cyriac Abby Philips, also known as The Liver Doc, has recently expressed his strong criticism towards Dr. Jockers, who is associated with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The Liver Doc had previously criticized Samantha for promoting hydrogen peroxide nebulization, and now he claims that her doctor is a “fraud” and has received multiple warnings from medical authorities. In a note shared on his social media handle on Saturday morning, Philips addressed his ongoing dispute with Samantha. He mentioned that many of the actress’ fans have requested him to be kind towards her.
However, the doctor clarified that his intention is solely to combat medical misinformation online. The Liver Doc referred to Samantha’s doctor as a “fraud” and alleged that he has been warned by health regulatory bodies on multiple occasions. “The other ‘doctor’ Samantha cited. The less said about this fraud, the better. Jockers is not a doctor. He is a naturopath. Naturopaths are a menace to society, a danger to patients, and a public health malignancy. And rightly so, Samantha’s Dr. Jockers has been warned multiple times by the US FDA, the US FTA, and many other health regulatory bodies for selling and promoting public health-endangering products and services.
Basically, he is a plain simple fraud,” Philips wrote. Philips also took the opportunity to apologize to Samantha, emphasizing that his only motive is to fight against misinformation. “I understand and empathize with Samantha’s health condition, and I wish her the very best. I apologize if she felt uneasy or bad about the way the message was conveyed. That was unintentional. My aim was for her to distance herself from “doctors” who peddle medical misinformation, exploiting her vulnerability and relying on her anecdotal experiences for their own gain,” he added. In case you missed it, Samantha recently shared her recommendation for the use of hydrogen peroxide nebulization on her Instagram stories. This caught the attention of The Liver Doc, who criticized her as being “health and science illiterate” and emphasized the dangers associated with hydrogen peroxide nebulization.
