On the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, the cast of Param Sundari — Sidharth Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Manjot Singh, and Inayat Verma — shared some fun behind-the-scenes stories. A memorable moment was when Sanjay Kapoor revealed that his daughter Shanaya had a crush on Sidharth Malhotra back when he was shooting Student of the Year.
Sanjay shared, “It was Shanaya’s 13th birthday. At that time, Sidharth was filming Student Of The Year and she had a crush on him. So, Karan Johar sent Sidharth at midnight as a birthday surprise.” Sidharth chimed in, “I got a text saying it was someone’s birthday. I thought it was Karan’s, but it turned out to be Shanaya’s. So, I went over to his house.” Sanjay added, “Karan had asked both Sid and Varun to go, but Varun said, ‘Why would I go? She’s Sid’s fan!’”
The episode also featured young actor Inayat Verma, who has worked with stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Sidharth Malhotra. Inayat amusingly revealed how her classmates get starstruck by her celebrity co-stars. When Kapil Sharma asked if any teachers wanted to visit the set during her shoot with Sidharth, Inayat said, “Yes, they did!
They wanted to click pictures with him. But more than teachers, my classmates keep asking me about how Janhvi ma’am and Sidharth sir are off-camera. ”Param Sundari, directed by Tushar Jalota, hit theaters on August 29. Despite mixed reviews, the film has had a decent run at the box office, collecting Rs 16.5 crore in India so far.
