Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Show Allocation Issues Resolved; Advance Booking Kicks Off with a Bang as Mumbai Multiplex Sets Record Ticket Price at ₹1080

The highly anticipated clash between “Singham Again” and “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” is just around the corner, set to unfold in less than 48 hours, and excitement is at an all-time high. However, the exhibition sector faced challenges due to unresolved show-sharing issues, leading to concerns reminiscent of the “Sooryavanshi” vs. “Eternals” showdown during Diwali 2021. Fortunately, a positive development occurred on the night of Tuesday, October 29, as the show-sharing disputes were resolved, allowing advance bookings for both films to open across the country shortly thereafter.
According to insights from Bollywood Hungama, “Singham Again” has been allocated 60% of the shows, while “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” will receive the remaining 40%. This distribution is evident across major multiplex chains, including PVR Inox, MovieMax, NY Cinemas, Rajhans, MovieTime, and Miraj. In Cinepolis theatres, “Singham Again” holds a slight advantage with 58% of the shows, compared to 42% for “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.”The distribution remains consistent in single screens, where the ratio also favors “Singham Again” at 60:40.
This means that for every five shows, three will feature “Singham Again” and two will showcase “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.” Some iconic single screens, such as Raj Mandir in Jaipur and Liberty in Delhi, are making a rare exception by running five shows daily, despite typically having a four-show limit.Notably, some single-screen theatres have opted to play only “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” or exclusively “Singham Again,” creating varied viewing experiences across locations.
A similar scenario unfolded during the recent clash between “Dunki” and “Salaar” over Christmas 2023.As for ticket prices, audiences should prepare for blockbuster rates when purchasing tickets for these films. Some multiplexes are setting record prices, with PVR Maison at Jio World Drive, BKC, Mumbai, selling regular Prime Plus seats for as much as Rs. 1080 for evening and night shows of “Singham Again.” Despite the high costs, these shows are rapidly filling up, reflecting the immense demand for this epic cinematic showdown.
