While Growing up all these years, everyone seems to be captivated by Bollywood’s larger-than-life characters and films. One of these includes Salman Khan’s character called Avinash Singh Rathore or Tiger, who seems to stand out in Btown. The Tiger franchise has transcended not just by being a film but it is an emotion or sentiment, which remains with the audience or fans for a longer duration. Regardless of one’s view like hating or loving it, it is an undeniable fact that the character of Tiger was tailor made for Salman Khan.

So, when Yash Raj Films decided to add one more episode to the Tiger franchise with a third installment, it was more than a  journey, which seemed poised to rewrite the record books at the box office. The Tiger franchise, with its commitment to entertainment the audience and with a huge and committed fan base and intrinsic value, has become an integral part of YRF’s Spy Universe, intensifying the anticipation surrounding the film.

The official announcement of the production house (Spy Universe) first came with Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan this year, promising an intelligent blend of spy films and characters to create something unprecedented in Bollywood. As part of this ambitious project, SRK and Hrithik Roshan made their cameos in Tiger 3. All these elements have turned this third installment into a box office powerhouse waiting to explode.

Looking at the box office, the morning and afternoon shows went high, and the occupancy across the nation seemed robust, laying a tough foundation for the film’s success. However, the evening shows witnessed a dip for the obvious reasons – the Laxmi Pujan effect. Despite this, the film is expected to perform well during the Diwali holidays. Yet, the film managed to get an impressive collection at the box office. As per reports, the first day box office collection for Tiger 3 was around 43 Crores, which is still a decent figure to celebrate. The remaining Diwali holidays will keep on pulling more audience across the various segments of the audience.
