Zwigato Movie Review:
Zwigato is the latest offering from Bollywood’s favourite comedian, Kapil Sharma. The film, directed by Nandita Das, is a heartwarming and soulful tale that blends humour with honesty to create a compelling story that is sure to win the hearts of audiences.
At its core, Zwigato is a story set in Bhubaneswar, Odisha is about a man called Manas who is forced to pick up a food delivery job after losing his job of a floor manager. He moves pillar to post following the apps’ updates to deliver food and struggles to meet his end. While his wife also leaves no stone unturned to do odd jobs to support her husband in the earning and cater to their two children and ailing mother in the family. Yet they remain a lovable couple with an eccentric character. Despite his flaws, Zwigato is fiercely loyal to his friends and will do anything to protect them.
The film’s plot is engaging and keeps the audience hooked from start to finish. The humour is well-timed and blends seamlessly with the more serious elements of the story. Kapil Sharma’s performance as Zwigato is outstanding, and he brings depth and soulfulness to the character which is truly remarkable.
