Fighter, featuring Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan in the lead roles, is experiencing a lucrative weekend at the box office. Despite a lukewarm start, the film has gained momentum, particularly benefiting from the Republic Day holiday and the absence of competing releases. Early trends for day 4 suggest promising prospects for the film.

Although the film initially had a slow start, director Siddharth Anand’s previous project, “Pathaan,” led by Shah Rukh Khan, had set the box office ablaze last year. Fighter’s consistent performance may pave the way for a substantial lifetime collection.

Box Office Collection: During the first three days, Fighter amassed a total of 93.40 crores, with Republic Day contributing significantly, generating a remarkable 41.20 crores. Saturday’s earnings showed improvement, surpassing the opening day figures.

On day 4, the film officially entered the 100 crore club and exceeded this milestone. Early trends indicate that Fighter has garnered a box office collection in the range of 27-28 crores on Sunday. While expectations were for a figure above 30 crores, the impact of the Sunday curse affected night occupancies.

The overall total now stands between 120.40-121.40 crores. The film’s performance during its first week and weekdays will be pivotal in determining its lifetime estimates.

Worldwide Collection: In the global arena, Fighter crossed the 100-crore mark within the first two days. Day 3 saw the film grossing 53.56 crores, propelling the worldwide total to 153.69 crores gross.

Cast: Hrithik Roshan portrays Squadron Leader Shamsher “Patty” Pathania, while Deepika Padukone takes on the role of Squadron Leader Minal “Minni” Rathore. The action-packed film also features Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Ashutosh Rana, Akshay Oberoi, and Sharib Hashmi in significant roles.

This marks Hrithik’s third collaboration with director Siddharth Anand after “Bang Bang” and “War.” Additionally, it reunites him with Deepika for the second time following “Pathaan.”
