Kamaal Rashid Khan, better known as KRK, is no stranger to controversy. The self-proclaimed critic and actor has made a name for himself by making outrageous statements and taking digs at Bollywood celebrities. This time he has targeted Varun Dhawan and compared his stardom with the ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar‘s star Ranbir Kapoor. KRK took to Twitter to express his views on the film’s success, and he did not mince his words. He called the film ‘ghatiya’ (cheap) and accused Varun Dhawan of riding on the success of Ranbir Kapoor’s stardom.

According to KRK, who rides high on controversies, the self-proclaimed critic called TJMM a cheap movie, which managed to enter the 100 Crores club only due to the presence of Ranbir Kapoor. He then added if Varun had played the leading star the film could have ended up scoring only 25 Cr, which proves the point that Ranbir is a much greater and bigger star than Varun Dhawan. You need to check his tweet to believe the same, have a look as under:

KRK while expressing his views on the film’s success did not mince his words. He called the film ‘ghatiya’ (cheap) and accused Varun Dhawan of riding on the success of Ranbir Kapoor’s stardom. According to KRK, it was Ranbir’s presence only helped it cross the 100 crore mark, and Varun has no capacity to score that much.

This is not the first time KRK has targeted Varun Dhawan. In the past, he has made several derogatory remarks about the actor, calling him ‘overrated’ and ‘talentless.’ However, this latest tweet takes things to a whole new level. KRK’s comments have not gone down well with Varun’s fans, who have come out in support of their favourite star.

While KRK may be known for his controversial statements, his comments on Varun Dhawan and ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ raise some important questions about the Indian film industry. Is success at the box office solely dependent on star power? Does a film’s quality matter if it manages to cross the 100 crore mark? These are questions that need to be addressed if we want to see meaningful change in the Indian film industry.

Firstly, it is no secret that star power plays a significant role in the success of a film. Actors like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan have a massive fan following, and their films are almost guaranteed to do well at the box office. However, this should not be the only factor that determines a film’s success. A film’s quality, storyline, and performance should also be taken into account.

Secondly, the obsession with the 100 crore mark has led to a decline in the quality of films being made. Filmmakers are more concerned with making a film that can cross the 100 crore mark than making a film that is meaningful and impactful. This has resulted in a slew of mindless films that lack substance and are forgettable.
