From “Don 3” to “Shaktimaan” and “Singham Again,” here are the latest updates on each of these upcoming ventures.
Singham Again: Directed by Rohit Shetty, “Singham Again” promises a host of exciting developments. Notably, Deepika Padukone will join the cop franchise as the first female cop, while Tiger Shroff is set to portray ACP Satya. Additionally, Arjun Kapoor will take on the role of the antagonist, and the film will feature Ajay Devgn in the lead, with cameo appearances by Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh. Kareena Kapoor is also set to reprise her role as Avni Kamat Singham.
Reportedly, Ranveer Singh has dedicated a 50-day schedule to Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film, portraying a substantial role that goes beyond an extended cameo. While he has completed a significant portion of the filming, he is currently engaged in the final leg, expected to conclude by the end of April. “Singham Again” is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 15, 2024.
Don 3: Following his commitments to “Singham Again,” Ranveer Singh will undertake look tests for “Don 3.” The film holds great significance as he steps into the legacy of Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. The actor will undergo workshops to prepare for his role. As per reports, Farhan Akhtar aims to commence filming in August/September 2024. The production is slated to span seven months, encompassing shooting locations in India and abroad, with a projected completion by March 2025. While the exact release date remains undisclosed, “Don 3” is anticipated to hit screens in the latter half of 2025.
Shaktimaan: Reports have confirmed Ranveer Singh’s casting as the lead in “Shaktimaan.” A source close to the project revealed that following “Don 3,” the actor will embark on this highly anticipated venture. After three years of development, the team has finalized a script that honors the legacy of Shaktimaan. Directed by Basil Joseph and produced by Sony Pictures India and Sajid Nadiadwala, “Shaktimaan” is slated for a 2026 release.
