Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu recently exchanged vows with her long-term boyfriend, Mathias Boe, in a private ceremony held in Udaipur. The wedding took place on Saturday (March 23) and was attended by close family members and friends. The couple had started their pre-wedding festivities on March 20 and wanted to keep the celebrations low-key, away from media attention. Both Taapsee and Mathias are known for their reserved and private nature, and they wanted their big day to reflect that.
According to reports, the guest list included a few Bollywood personalities, such as Taapsee’s co-star from “Dobaaraa” and “Thappad,” Pavail Gulati. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who shares a close bond with Taapsee and has worked with her on films like “Manmarziyaan” and “Dobaara” and produced “Saand Ki Aankh,” also attended the wedding. Kanika Dhillon and her husband, Himanshu Sharma, were also present at the event. Kanika shared pictures on Instagram, where she was seen wearing a pink and silver outfit, while her husband wore a blue and white traditional attire.
Pavail also posted a photo on Instagram featuring Taapsee’s sister Shagun Pannu and cousin Evania Pannu, along with Abhilash Thapliyal and badminton player Chirag Shetty. The caption read, “Twinkle twinkle little star, we have no idea where we are!” The comment section was filled with congratulatory messages and well wishes for the couple.
Recently, Taapsee made an appearance as the showstopper for designers Gauri & Nainika at the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW), where she donned an elegant all-black velvet off-shoulder mermaid gown. She expressed her happiness at officially being a muse for the designers, as she had worn their outfits on numerous occasions before.
Fans can look forward to seeing Taapsee in the upcoming thriller film “Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba,” alongside Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal. The movie, which also stars Jimmy Shergill in a lead role, is a sequel to “Haseen Dilruba,” which premiered on Netflix in July 2021 and received positive reviews from the audience. The release date for “Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba” on Netflix is yet to be announced.
