Taking to his Instagram account, the actor shared a photo with the prestigious black lady and expressed gratitude to the creators for transforming his ‘childhood dream into a reality.’

He also posted a picture with the real-life inspiration, Manoj Kumar Sharma, after receiving the award. Vikrant shared another photo with his Filmfare award, captioned, “We’re home. FINALLY!!! The film revolves around UPSC aspirants and is based on real-life experiences, portraying the struggles of millions of students attempting the UPSC entrance exam. It chronicles the inspiring journey of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who triumphed over poverty to become an IPS officer. Adapted from a novel by Anurag Pathak, the film depicts the story of a young boy from Chambal with aspirations to join the police force.
