The Yodha Universe, a thrilling world presented by Amazon Prime and Dharma Productions, has expanded its horizons with the release of an adventure-thriller comic book titled “Adventures of Yodha: The Case of the Missing Ship.” In collaboration with Pratilipi Comics, Dharma Productions has brought this limited-edition comic book to life, written by Akash Pathak and visualized by Ayantika Roy.

The comic book is divided into eight pulse-raising episodes, following the protagonist Arun Katyal on a life-altering mission to a phantom island. Arun sets out to uncover the mystery behind the disappearance of a ship in the Arabian Sea, facing numerous challenges along the way. To experience the suspense and unravel the secrets, readers can dive into the pages of “Adventures of Yodha: The Case of the Missing Ship” on the Pratilipi Comics App.

Producer Karan Johar shared his excitement about building the Yodha franchise, aiming to create an Indian counterpart to globally renowned multimedia franchises. The comic book serves as an engaging introduction to the world of Yodha, with its suspenseful storyline and ongoing theme of mystery. Johar expressed his ambition to create a universe that resonates with audiences in the Indian subcontinent.

Apoorva Mehta, CEO of Dharma Productions, emphasized the groundbreaking nature of the comic book, expecting it to be a game-changer for both the film and the franchise. Mehta praised the team at Pratilipi for keeping the excitement alive throughout all eight episodes, believing that the comic book will generate curiosity among audiences to experience the film on the big screen.

Ranjeet Pratap Singh, Founder and CEO of Pratilipi, expressed his enthusiasm for collaborating with Dharma Productions to bring “Adventures of Yodha: The Case of the Missing Ship” to the Pratilipi Comics platform. The comic book has been released in both English and Hindi languages to reach a wide audience. Singh revealed that three episodes are already available on the Pratilipi app, with subsequent episodes scheduled for weekly releases.

The comic book serves as a precursor to the film “Yodha,” one of the most anticipated action thrillers of 2024. Starring Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani, and Raashii Khanna, the film follows Arun Katyal, the commanding officer of the Yodha Task Force, on a thrilling rescue operation. Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, “Yodha” is set to hit theaters worldwide on March 15.
